Talk Before You Walk

  • Practices are still open, and we encourage people to get in touch for any health concerns that cannot be dealt with by the individual, their family and friends, or the local pharmacy
  • If you think you need to see a doctor, nurse or other health professional, please call the practice to speak to a clinician or use Qdoctor
  • You may have to wait longer in the telephone queue. We are sorry for this but we only have a limited number of staff and lines
  • Please only visit the surgery in person if you have an appointment
  • Routine vaccinations and immunisations are important and are available at the practice
  • Please make prescription requests using the online system here
  • If you need to be seen face-to-face then you will be given an appointment to come to the practice, and this will be provided in a Covid-safe way
  • We want to discourage people from queuing outside a GP practice, and waiting in the waiting area, to reduce the spread of coronavirus
  • If you have coronavirus symptoms, DO NOT come into the practice. Self isolate and seek help via NHS 111 or

To protect our staff and our patients, Liquorpond Surgery will be screening all patients who have face-to-face appointments with one of our clinicians

Care with courtesy, dignity and respect

Our aim is to maintain and improve the health of our patients, by providing high quality equitable health care, which is flexible, responsive, friendly and efficient

Please note that, when you book an appointment, the receptionist may ask you why you need to be seen. This is because reception staff have been trained to ask certain questions to ensure that you receive the most appropriate medical care, from the most appropriate health professional, at the most appropriate time.

Please be assured that any information you provide is treated strictly confidentially and, if you wish, you can ask to speak to a receptionist in private, away from reception.

If, however, you feel that an issue is very private and you do not wish to say what this is, then this will be respected.

Thank you for your support.
